The build
You build the Chiron from the chassis up. The heart of the build is the W16 engine: you assemble all 16 pistons and connect them to the drivetrain, then add the 8-speed gearbox, the suspension and steering, and finish with the two-tone body, doors and rear wing. Because the build is split into clear stages, it's easy to spread it over several sessions and pick it up where you left off. It's a relaxing, hands-on project that keeps you focused without a screen in sight.
What moves
This isn't a static model. The 16 pistons of the W16 engine move as the wheels turn. The 8-speed gearbox actually works, operated with a gear lever in the cockpit. All four wheels have independent suspension, the steering turns, the doors open and the rear wing is adjustable.

About the Bugatti Chiron
The Chiron is powered by an 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 producing 1,103 kW, with a top speed electronically limited to 420 km/h. Bugatti built 500 of them.
