The build
You build the P1 the way the real car comes together: from the chassis up. You start with the frame and suspension, add the steering and the engine section, and finish with the body panels, doors and wings. Because the build is split into clear stages, it's easy to spread it over several sessions and pick it up where you left off. It's a relaxing, hands-on project that keeps you focused without a screen in sight.
What moves
This isn't a static model. All four wheels have independent suspension, and the steering turns with the front wheels. The butterfly doors open upwards, just like on the real car. The front and rear wings are adjustable, so you can display the P1 in the setup you prefer. Inside, the cockpit is fully detailed with a steering wheel, dashboard and sports seats.

About the McLaren P1
The P1 was one of the first hybrid hypercars, combining a twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor for 673 kW. McLaren built only 375 of them, which makes it one of the most sought-after modern supercars.
